At The Circus With My Monkey
Sarianne's blog portal sponsored Cirkus Scott and she was kind enough to hook Jambo and I up with tickets to yesterday's show. And not just any tickets, but ringside seats!
The dancers and acrobats were seriously legit and the house band and singers were so good that me toes were tapping for the entire two-hour show. And now clowns, thank the lord! But best of all was the fact that the crown princess was there with her husband and their daughter, Estelle! It had occurred to me that we may see some celebrities and their kids there, but I never imagined we'd see THE celebrity!
There were other fun things to do in the tent after the show, like an area where kids could play with every Playmobil toy you can imagine, plus trampolines, a carousel, and pony rides. I was a little disappointed that Jamie didn't want to ride a pony, but whatever, we had an awesome time regardless. Thanks, Sarianne and Womsa!
Womsaboxen
Sarianne has so much cool stuff going on right now. I've told you about her website, but she and her friend Aja also have a podcast and now a test product box called Womsaboxen. I helped them design the logo for the box, but I wasn't really sure what kind of products they would have or how they would be able to manage such a huge project. They did it, though, and I'm totally impressed with the result. On Friday, they delivered my own Womsabox to me at work. It was unexpected and I was so excited before I even opened it. And I have to say they did a really great job getting together a diverse and, most importantly, useful collection of products for their first box. I have no bigger pet peeve than clutter, so the fact that this box only contains stuff I'll actually use is a big plus. There was green tea from Kung Markatta, which is perfect for my health kick. I've been trying to replace one cup of coffee per day with a cup of green tea and this citrus and aloe vera flavor should help motivate me. I'm going to trick Jamie into thinking that the Loka Crush is soda even though it's made with fruit juice and has much less sugar, and that the belVita breakfast biscuits are cookies. Heh. He'll never see it coming. Then, of course, there were beauty products, my passion. I got an argan oil from Rapunzel of Sweden that I can't wait to try and a massage brush that claims to reduce cellulite from Hanna Kaffe Panna and I'll tell you what, I'll take any help I can get. And finally, there were adorable party supplies from Linas Glädjeyra that I'm going to save for our annual Thanksgiving dinner party.

Three Again
The Swede and I are obsessing over The Night Manager right now, so I'm going to keep it short, but I wanted to pop in and say that The Swede returned on Friday from his bi-annual week-long fishing trip in Norway and Jamie and I are just thrilled to have him back. We've had lots of nice family time this weekend, including the first soccer training for the five-year-olds in our community (Jamie was not interested, but the three of us had a great time kicking the ball around) and a long walk in the forest. It was a really satisfying weekend and I couldn't have asked for more except to get the last two episodes of that amazing miniseries under our belts. Off to do just that!
