Hardly a day goes by that I don't see a pack of kiddos trudging through the snow on some kind of field trip with their daycare teachers. Every daycare, it seems, outfits the kids in fluorescent vests and gives them a loop in a long rope to hang on to in order to stick with the crew. Sure, it may seem like they're having fun, but to me it just looks like they're paying their debt to society.
