last year, it was all about the kids and we played with them and fed them and dried tears and chased them down for hours. Unlike last year, however, when all of the kids eventually fell asleep giving us some adult-only time, Jamie stayed awake until we left at ELEVEN O'CLOCK. He was a charmer the whole time, though, thank goodness. We ate Julbord classics like ham and meatballs and herring, drank glögg, and caught up on the happenings of the past year while the snow fell outside. It was exactly how a Christmas dinner party aught to be.
